SUNY Upstate has partnered with Practice Greenhealth (http://practicegreenhealth.org/), an organization dedicated to making healthcare more sustainable.  With your Upstate email address you can access PGH’s member’s only benefits such as resources guides on how you can make healthcare more sustainable, and the opportunity to meet with other healthcare professionals to discuss sustainability.  Please email green@ngskmc-eis.net to request  access.

 

In September 2022 Gov. Kathy Hochul signed Executive Order 22 laying out ambitious climate goals for SUNY Upstate and other state institutions to meet over the coming decades.

 

SUNY Upstate is a certified Bee Campus USA Affiliate committed to protecting and improving habitats for pollinators on Upstate properties! We pledge to: refrain from using pesticides and herbicides in our landscaping, plant native pollinator-friendly plants, and educate the Upstate community on the importance of pollinators for public health.
