Dr. Beach listened well to all concerns. He advised me about risks and benefits of the change in treatment. He was very informative and knowledgeable and considered my overall health. Dr Beach always spends enough time with me and I feel that he cares about my health. I was just frustrated by the excessive amount of time that it took for the resident to review my history with me. Some of that could have been done prior to the appointment. It was obvious that he knew nothing about my case. I know that Dr Beach sees a large amount of patients but the resident took way too long.

Provider discussed with me about additional tests he wanted to perform and possibly switching medications even though my symptoms are under control with current medications. Three tests were recommended (1) blood test, order was never put into the system until I was checking out and asked the receptionist; (2) EEG - sent a letter in the mail of the date scheduled without any verification that this time would work with me; (3) MRI, - sent a letter in the mail of the date scheduled without any verification that this time would work with me. I think a provider/practice should work with patients to communicate better. It seems technology with MyChart and letters in mail have decreased the importance of the patient/provider relationship. I want to have a provider that I can trust and not be another "number" on the patient list.
